The concept of Living Books is so often oversimplified and the result is a notion that we can simply “master” the art of choosing solely living books and our children will subsequently become great readers. ⁣⁣
The reductionism often present in discussions about living books often results in the conversation not extending to the work of raising readers… ⁣⁣
